2 more Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute remnants surrender

With the continuous implementation of the Community Support Programs in coordination with the Local Government Unit and the constant dialogue with the relatives of the local terrorist group remnants, two Dawlah Islamiyah-Maute Group (DI-MG) members surrendered to the troops of the Bravo Company, 55th Infantry Battalion led by 1st Lieutenant Joseph A. Galapia in Sitio Mantapoli, Barangay Tambac, Lumbatan, Lanao del Sur on Friday (November 02).

Camal Makalao and Marcos Makalao turned over one (1) M16 rifle and one (1) magazine with nine (9) live ammunitions.

They were then brought to the Headquarters of the 55th Infantry Battalion for documentation and proper disposition.
