A joint medical and dental mission activity was conducted by 601st Brigade through the 57th Infantry Battalion and ARMM-HEART during the “ARMM People’s Day” in the town of Ampatuan celebrated at the Municipal Gymnasium of Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, Maguindanao last November 15, 2018.
Among the services offered during the activity were supplemental food feeding, giving of free slippers to the children, medical check-up, circumcision, random blood sugar testing, dental services, distribution of mahogany seedlings, and free land-titling.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office also distributed food packs primarily to indigent families and free school bags to elementary pupils.
The DSWD provided free medical and financial assistance to qualified beneficiaries.
Capability-building activities were likewise provided during the People’s Day.
Following are the result of the activity:
Supplemental Food Feeding Activity – 300 beneficiaries
Distribution of Free Slippers – 300 beneficiaries
Free Medical Check-Up – 100 beneficiaries
Free Circumcision – 16 beneficiaries
Free Random Blood Sugar (RBS) – 150 beneficiaries
Dental Services (tooth extraction) – 36 beneficiaries
Land Titling – 25 beneficiaries and
Leaflets Distributed – 100 pieces
The “ARMM People’s Day” is a program created by the ARMM Regional Government specifically the ARMM-HEART to be able to reach out to the Bangsamoro people and deliver free government services in collaboration with the different government agencies.
