IndoMalPhi 4th Trilateral Port Visit and Maritime Training activities continue

On the 2nd day of the Indonesian and Malaysian Navy contingents in the Philippines, invited guests from the AFP and its Stakeholders were given the opportunity to tour around the navy vessels through an open house at the Zamboanga City pier around 8am yesterday (November 28, 2018).

The contingents on the other hand, were given the opportunity to tour around the City prior the tree planting activity at Barangay Rio Hondo, this City around 11am of the same day.

In the afternoon, different fun games were prepared purposely to strengthen rapport and camaraderie among Navy personnel of the three (3) participating countries. The activity was held at the WestMinCom Grandstand and was participated by 15 representatives from each country.

Participants enjoyed playing sack race, tug of war, and other famous fun games.

Naval Forces Western Mindanao in coordination with the Western Mindanao Command and the City Government of Zamboanga facilitated the successful conduct of said activities.

The Trilateral Port Visit and Maritime Training Activity is held annually to strengthen the relationship, enhance mutual cooperation, and interoperability of the three countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines) through the development of combined rules of engagement and develop better understanding and cooperation.
