To cater the needs of its organic personnel, the Western Mindanao Command officially commenced a 15-day defensive driving (NCII) training at its headquarters in Camp Don Basilio Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City earlier today, September 30.
This initiative is in collaboration with the Office of the Technical Education and Skill Development Authority Region-9 (TESDA R-IX).
The training is attended by more or less 37 organic personnel of the command composed of officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resource who has no knowledge in driving specifically the four-wheel vehicle. They will undergo a 3-day classroom instruction and 12-day actual driving lesson.
“We continuously engage our personnel in various trainings in order to elevate learning and to efficiently operate our equipments and resources,” said Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana, commander of the Western Mindanao Command.
“By enhancing their skills and abilities, we can easily adapt to any challenging situation that may arise in our area of operation,” added Lt. Gen. Sobejana.
